Alton oversees the delivery of services for our HBCU partner institutions, including engaging in school assessments, goal setting and strategic planning. Alton has ten years of experience in financial aid processes, admissions and secondary college and career counseling. Prior to joining Ed Advancement Alton served as co-developer and Program Manager for Houston Independent School District’s Miles Ahead Scholars, an initiative aimed to empower young men of color to attend the nation’s top programs of higher education. Alton understands the value and legacy of HBCUs as a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University where he earned a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.S. in Community Development.
