We value the critical role of minority serving institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), in advancing socioeconomic mobility for historically underrepresented students and support their efforts by providing scalable infrastructure, operations, and technology-focused solutions.
We are dedicated to the following principles as we carry out our mission:
Founded in 2018 by James Runcie, CEO of Ed Advancement and former COO of Federal Student Aid (FSA) and Tony James, chairman of Jefferson River Capital and the former Executive Vice Chairman of The Blackstone Group, Ed Advancement is a non-profit that provides scalable, sustainable, operations-, and technology-focused solutions to HBCUs to help them serve their students and meet their strategic goals.
