Cory Boone

As partnership associate for Ed Advancement Cory Boone oversees projects, relationships, and other program elements to advance the organization’s support of partner HBCUs. Cory has extensive higher education administration experience working with institutions such as Georgetown, Niagara and Syracuse University. He has developed, fostered, and promoted new opportunities for partnerships with public and private sector entities, providing leadership for establishing multi-year tactical and annual operational objectives designed to implement the strategic goals of these institutions. Prior to joining Ed Advancement, Cory served as Social Development Director at JobCorps where he planned, directed, and administered the activities of the residential living, recreational, and counseling programs that lead to the student’s independence from the center’s program and ensured that all students were competitive in the job market. Cory is a proud native of Northern, NJ where he credits his family for instilling the importance of getting an education. He earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business/Management from Stockton and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Rowan University.
