Sherill leads student success initiatives for Ed Advancement. She brings 13 years of progressive higher education experience related to academic support services, student advocacy, advisement, and retention. Sherill firmly believes in the mantra “it takes a village,” and as such her professional philosophy is rooted in establishing collaborative relationships with stakeholders to devise measurable, sustainable, and beneficial plans to support student growth and success. Sherill has held professional roles in both the private college sector as well as the State University of New York (SUNY) system. She is a proud New Yorker as well as a first-generation college graduate who attributes her success to her family and her professional village of colleagues and mentors.
